Friendly Beast: The Beast

Hello, I'm the Beast.

I'm known as the grotesque and monstrous beast by all of the towns people.

The towns people made all of these assumptions about me - that I'm evil, ugly, and heartless.

But little did they know, that I am simply human.

A prince infact.

I was cursed at a young age and was turned into this beastly figure, but no one knew of this, except for me and my few acquaintances.

The towns people frustrated me... they were the reason for my anger.

Without even getting to know who I am, I am assumed to be a monstrous being.

I found this very unfair.

However, since this is the way I lived for so long, I began to believe them.

I started to believe that no one would befriend me... that I would never be able to love.

These thoughts lasted until I met a lovely girl, Belle.

After some conflicting events, it just so happened that Belle ended up being a hostage at my lifeless palace (she sacrificed herself to free her father).

Belle, just as everyone else, feared me.

She refused to see, talk, or even be in the same room as me.

As time slowly progressed, she finally came out and introduced herself, as did I.

From that point on, we gradually got to know one another.

She came to realize that my physical appearance is not my true self.

I began to love her.

She began to love me.

Thanks to Belle, my curse was lifted.

I had found true love.
